专利说明:

This object can be achieved with a bank for a cargo space, which comprises a frame part, support parts articulated to both ends of the frame part and two supports. At least one support consists of two or more plates, where one of the plates at the cargo space is formed into a curved shape at a transverse level and the other plate has been made parallel to the curved shape of the support to widen the surface of the support. A curved and wide support considerably facilitates that groats and rice remain in the cargo space. Advantageously, a third plate is arranged to constitute a reinforcement at the support end of the strut to reinforce the strut.
According to one application, the curved shape of the strut is arranged to change the substantially lateral pressing force from the strut against the material to also be directed from above and downwards. In this way, the rice in the load can be pressed against the bottom of the cargo space to a compact load. In this context, the term lateral refers to a perpendicular force in relation to the pivot axes of the struts, i.e. a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the logs located in a cargo space formed by banks according to the invention.
The plate of a rotatable support may comprise a mounting hole for locking and lifting the supports. With the aid of the mounting hole, the supports can be locked in the closed position, whereby they cannot be opened during transport.
According to one application, the support part is a sheath, in which the supports are arranged to be fastened and detached by quick locking. This enables a quick replacement of supports and good opportunities to adapt the cargo space to different purposes. Furthermore, a bank may comprise at least one actuator, articulated at one end to the support part and at its other end to the bank, for moving the supports between open and closed position.
The actuator can be a hydraulic cylinder. With the help of the actuator, a load that contains a lot of empty space can be compressed, and thus remain. A compact load enables better utilization of the forwarder's load capacity. The plate formed into a curved shape can in its bend correspond to 30 - 90 °, preferably 45 - 65 ° of the periphery of a corresponding circle.
A bank for cargo space according to the invention is suitable for use especially for compressing entire energy trees, groats and other low-density material, so that it is possible to fit more material than usual in a forwarder's or equivalent cargo space. In this way a maximum load is achieved with regard to the carrying capacity of the vehicle.
With a bank for cargo space according to the invention, an adaptability that is excellent for the cargo space for different purposes is obtained. The bank makes it possible for the same cargo space to be used for the transport of ordinary timber, such as saw timber and pulpwood, as well as groats and rice, whereby the possibilities of use of the same forwarders increase. This also enables the forwarder's overall degree of use to be improved. With the help of the bank, whole trees to be loaded can be compressed better, which is important especially when compressing and transporting whole trees. The supports included in the bank can be locked during transport, whereby the load safely remains in the cargo space, and cannot fall off. In addition, the banks cannot fall over the sides when a forwarder is transported on a van. The supports are also easy to change thanks to the quick brackets.
In the following the invention is described in detail with reference to the appended figures, which show an application of the invention, according to which Figure 1 shows an axonometric projection of a bank for a cargo space according to the invention, attached to a forwarder's rear chassis, Figure 2 shows a bank for a cargo space according to the invention seen from the end of the cargo space, Figure 3a - 3d shows the cross sections according to Fig. 2 in a bank for a cargo space according to the invention, Figures 4a-4b show a bank for a cargo space according to the invention seen from the end of the cargo space with the supports in open and closed position, Figure 5a- 5b shows a bank for a cargo space according to the invention in axonometric projection with the supports in open and closed position, Figures 6a-6b show a bank for a cargo space according to the invention seen from above and from the side.
Figure 1 shows a rear chassis 42 of a forwarder 40, with two banks 12 according to an application of the invention and two conventional banks 12 '. Banks 12 and 12 'are typically two to four in number to form a cargo space 10 together with the struts 16 attached thereto. The cargo space may also comprise a bottom plate 41 for the cargo space, which prevents rice from falling down between the banks 12 and 12 '. These can also be moved in a manner known per se along the forwarder's body in the longitudinal direction of the machine as required, either manually by loosening or opening fastening devices or alternatively the bank can be arranged to be moved e.g. from inside the cab using a hydraulic cylinder. A bank for cargo space according to the invention comprises a frame part, a support part articulated to at least one end of the frame part and two supports.
According to an application of the invention, the body parts of the bank have curved shapes.
The frame part is arranged in its center to be attached to the frame of a forwarder or truck and on both sides of the attachment point there are curved parts. After the curved parts, there are further straight parts in the horizontal plane, which are at a higher level than the middle part of the body part. With the help of the curved shape, it is avoided that the large off-road wheels that are often found on forwarders get stuck in the body of the bank when the forwarder's bogie axles move.
A bank according to the invention may comprise two types of supports, conventional straight supports 16 and curved supports 17. The supports 17 may be located according to Fig. 1 in every other bank 12, a part of the supports 16 and 17 being conventional fixed supports 16. In Figure 1 the supports 17 in bank 12 which are closest to the end wall 43 of the cargo space are in the closed position, where they normally press the material to be transported against the cargo space 10. The supports 17 in the penultimate bank 12 are in turn in the open position.
The supports 16 and 17 can be fastened with the quick brackets to the support part 14 which are led to the banks 12, whereby they are easy to loosen and mount. According to a favorable application, the support part 14 is more precisely a ski 34 (in figure 2). The supports are attached to the ski so that the support partially enters the ski. In Figures 2 - 6b, a bank 12 is characterized by a box construction with reference number 12.
According to one application, skis 34, which can be rotated with the actuator 13, are articulated to both ends of the bank 12 with the first leads 26. The actuator 13 is advantageously a hydraulic cylinder or another actuator suitable for the purpose. With the aid of the actuator 13, twigs to be transported can be pressed together with the supports 17 of the banks 12, whereby they cannot fall off. The actuator 13 is articulated at one end to the bank 12 by means of a second link 27 and at its other end to the sheath 34 by means of a third link 28. When the actuator is extended, the actuator slides the third link, the sheath rotating about the first members. At the same time, the supports rotate between open and closed positions.
According to Figure 2, the bank 12 has a mounting plate 11, which forms a gap for the edge of the forwarder body plate. The gap is pressed between the body 15 of the bank and the mounting plate 11.
By means of the mounting plate 11, the bank 12 can be fastened to the forwarder's frame firmly and securely.
A forwarder can have 1 - 4 banks 12 and 12 'according to the figures. With these banks, whole trees and biomass or other material can be pressed into a more compact form to save cargo space. It can be noted from the shape of the support 17 that it curves slightly outwards. In particular, the upper end of the strut 17 is bent inwards, increasing the downward pressing force when the struts 17 are closed. In this context, the inward expression means that the support 17 bends towards the center of the cargo space. The difference in direction between the end of the strut to be attached to the ski and the other end of the strut may be about 60 ° i.e. the support 17 bends in addition to its length inwards approximately 60 ° according to the figures. The bend of the curved shaped plate 17 of the curved strut 17 may be 30-90 °, preferably 45-65 ° of the periphery of a corresponding circle, so that a sufficiently large downward pressing force can be produced with the strut.
According to a favorable application of the invention, the bank support is formed of three sheet metal cutouts, which are obtained with e.g. plasma, laser or water cutting. It is conceivable that the support 17 is constructed around the plate 18, where a plate 19 is used at the base. The purpose of the plate 19 is to function as a support plate, which reinforces the end of the support 17 which comes to the support part 14. To expand the bearing surface, a thinner curved plate 20 is used, with which the press pressure is equalized to a wider area.
When branches and thinner tree trunks are pressed with a narrow support, they can otherwise be broken due to the pressure and support can sink too deep into the load.
The supports can be made of e.g. steel or other material suitable for the purpose.
The production of supports is simple and economical, since supports e.g. can be machined and welded together to form a support. The length of the struts varies depending on the use, but in general the length of the struts is such that in the closed position they extend crosswise with the struts located on the opposite side of the frame part, whereby the load can be compressed properly.
The plate 18 may have a mounting hole 25, which has two purposes. Mounting holes can also be made in a conventional support. The supports 17 can be easily lifted by means of the mounting hole 25 and on the other hand the supports 17 can be tied together by means of a pin or a wire which is threaded through the mounting hole 25. Thus, e.g. for safe road transport the supports 17 are locked in the closed position by means of these holes. The locking is closest for the safety of road transport, so that the banks cannot fall over the sides when the machine is transported on a van.
The support 16 is interchangeably placed in the sheath 34, which may be a normal straight support 16 or a support 17 according to the figure, the latter of which is particularly useful for loading and transporting biomass and in particular for compaction. Previously, a problem with supports according to the prior art has been that with groats or with whole trees that have narrow trunks, full load has not been obtained according to the load-bearing capacity of the forwarder's load space. When material is compressed with a bank impact according to the invention, this load can be loaded according to the load-bearing capacity in the cargo space of the machine.
Figures 4a - 4b are partly sectioned, so that the mounting of the actuator 13 partly inside the box 12 of the bank 12 is clearly visible. Inside the bank 12, the actuator is protected from the damage of the trees, which improves the durability of the actuator. The figure shows the pin 30 of the quick-release fasteners 16, which is also visible in cross-sectional view 3d. By means of the pin 30 of the quick-release bracket, the supports 16 are locked in the skis 34.
Banks according to the invention can also be used in other applications, where banks are used for transport and compression of elongate material.
According to Figures 6a and 6b, the supports 17 can be made so that they overlap each other in the closed position. According to Figure 6b, the shape of the struts 17 can also be slightly inclined to the side, which facilitates the overlap of the struts. The production of struts with different shapes is simple thanks to the simple base construction of the strut.
